We encourage people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background and people with disability to apply.About the roleAssist NDIS participants in coordinating and implementing support services based on their NDIS plan, using a person-centred approach.
Build strong relationships with participants, their families, NDIS coordinators, planners, and service providers to ensure effective support and service delivery.This is a permanent part time (four days per week – any days within Monday to Friday) position that is located from Launceston.




You will have the flexibility to work from home or in our Launceston office, however, will be required to meet with clients across the Launceston region as required.Key responsibilitiesStrengthen and enhance our client's ability to coordinate supports and participate in the communityRegularly monitor our client's NDIS plan to ensure services are being delivered within their allocated budgetEnsure mainstream services meet their service obligations to clients (i.e. housing, education, justice, health)Provide the client and the NDIA with reports on outcomes and success indicators, within the agreed reporting frequencySkills & experienceExperience as an NDIS Support Coordinator or similarUnrestricted drivers licence and willingness to travel as requiredExcellent verbal communication skillsStrong written and computer skills for the creation of plans, programs reports, correspondence and other documentsEstablished time management, problem solving and conflict management skillsAbility to think creatively and use initiativeSuccessful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check, NDIS Workers Screening Check and a TAS Working with Vulnerable People Check.BenefitsSupportive and empowering leadershipJoin a national social purpose organisation with various career opportunitiesFlexible working workplace, including work from homeAccess to fitness passport and employee wellbeing programSalary packaging benefits including up to $15,900 of your annual salary tax freeApplications close at midnight on Sunday the 9th of August
