Service Coordinator / Scheduler – Electrical MaintenanceSydney | Permanent Full-Time
A leading commercial services provider is seeking an experienced Service Coordinator / Scheduler to join their operations team.
This is an excellent chance for a strong coordinator who enjoys working in a service-driven environment and is confident managing technicians, clients and maintenance workflows.
The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating a team of field-based technicians, ensuring reactive and preventative maintenance works are scheduled efficiently, completed on time, and delivered to a high standard.
Working closely with the operations team, clients and technicians, the Service Coordinator will be responsible for managing the end-to-end coordination of maintenance activities, including:
Scheduling and dispatching technicians across reactive and planned maintenance works.
Managing daily workloads and prioritising urgent service requests.
Allocating work orders and tracking jobs through to completion.
Liaising with clients, technicians, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth service delivery.
Providing regular updates on job progress, attendance times and completion status.
Monitoring outstanding works and following up to ensure deadlines and service levels are achieved.
Maintaining accurate job records, documentation and reporting.
Supporting the administration of quotations, variations and invoicing processes.




Working within service management systems to maintain visibility across all active jobs.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a service coordination, scheduling or maintenance administration role, ideally supporting a technical/trades-based workforce.
Experience within industries such as electrical, HVAC, fire protection, facilities management, building services or similar will be highly regarded.
Key requirements include:
Previous experience coordinating field technicians or trades teams.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with clients and internal stakeholders.
Experience working within a reactive maintenance or service environment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage work orders from start to finish.
Familiarity with service management systems such as Simpro, Uptick, Aroflo, Pronto, SAP or similar is advantageous.
