Projects Engineer - Commercial HVACCompetitive Salary Package: $120,000 - $150,000 + SuperAbout the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Projects Engineer - Commercial HVAC to join a growing mechanical services team delivering high-quality HVAC solutions across major commercial projects in NSW.This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer with strong technical capability and project delivery experience to work on complex commercial HVAC installations, including large-scale developments, high-rise buildings, hospitals, data centres, and major infrastructure projects.The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and project handover while working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the delivery of commercial HVAC projects from design through to completion.Coordinate mechanical services installation, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.Review and interpret HVAC designs, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.Liaise with consultants, builders, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.Assist with project planning, programming, cost tracking, and reporting.Manage RFIs, variations, technical queries, and design coordination.Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, NCC requirements, WHS regulations, and project specifications.Support commissioning, testing, balancing,



and practical completion activities.Provide technical guidance and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Proven experience delivering commercial HVAC/mechanical services projects.Robust understanding of HVAC systems including:Chilled water systemsVRF/VRV systemsAir handling units (AHUs)Mechanical ventilationBuilding management systems (BMS)Hydronic systemsExperience working with Tier 1 or 2 builders, contractors, consultants, or mechanical subcontractors.Strong knowledge of project documentation, drawings, and construction processes.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.Project ExperienceExperience across projects such as:Commercial office developmentsHospitals and healthcare facilitiesData centresEducation facilitiesHigh-rise residential developmentsIndustrial and warehouse facilitiesGovernment infrastructure projectsSalary & BenefitsProjects Engineer: $110,000 - $135,000 + SuperSenior Projects Engineer: $135,000 - $150,000 + SuperCompany vehicle/allowance may be available depending on experienceCareer progression into Project Manager rolesOpportunity to work on landmark commercial HVAC projectsWhy Join?
