Position Summary

Registered / Enrolled Nurse – Peri Operative Department – Endoscopy Unit, St Vincent’s Private Hospital Fitzroy campus (SVPHM).

Working hours are flexible for either full‑time or part‑time schedules, with 9 days per fortnight or shifts of 10, 8 and 6 hours to support a work/life balance. The role is integral to managing the day‑to‑day functioning of the unit and supporting a high‑performing team.

Responsibilities
Assist the nursing team in the peri‑operative care of patients within the Endoscopy Unit.
Maintain patient safety and support quality care throughout the operating theatre process.
Collaborate with surgical staff, clinicians and support staff to ensure effective unit operations.
Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of three years’ experience in the Operating Theatre.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to engage with all key stakeholders.





Additional Requirements
Criminal record and/or child protection checks will be conducted and are required for selection.
Compliance with the SVHA Staff Health Screening & Immunisation Policy, which includes mandatory immunisations/vaccinations as relevant to the role.
