With more than 100 years of history and over 3,500 employees across Australia, Komatsu continues to invest in its people, innovation and future growth.An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Leading Hand - Workshop to join our Service Department in Wacol.Leading a team of 12 employees, this role is responsible for coordinating day-to-day workshop operations while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, productivity and continuous improvement.
The position remains hands‐on, with the successful candidate expected to be approximately 50% productive on the tools while providing technical guidance and leadership to the teamKey responsibilities include:Coordinating daily workshop activities and workflowProviding technical support, diagnostics and repair expertiseConducting quality inspections and ensuring documentation complianceSupporting technician utilisation and workshop productivityAssisting with machinery appraisals, repairs and maintenance programsDriving safety, efficiency and continuous improvement initiativesProviding mentoring, coaching and knowledge transfer to technicians and trades assistantsSupporting reporting requirements, warranty processes and service documentation standardsRoster:
