We provide children with enriching, nature-based experiences in beautiful outdoor environments where they can explore, discover and flourish.The RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Qualified Centre Cook to join our team at Una Glen Eden.Working Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm, you will prepare fresh, nutritious meals for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, while ensuring the highest standards of food safety,



hygiene and allergy management.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and understands the important role healthy food plays in children's growth and wellbeing.What You'll BringFood Safety Supervisor CertificateExperience preparing nutritious meals for young childrenStrong understanding of food allergies and dietary requirementsCurrent Blue Card (Paid)Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain during induction)Child ProtectionFood Safety certificationsA warm, positive and professional attitudeExcellent organisational and time management skillsThe ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative teamKey ResponsibilitiesPlan and prepare nutritious, balanced meals and snacks for children from birth to 5 years.Cater for children's individual dietary, allergy, cultural and medical requirements.Implement and maintain the service's Food Safety Program.Ensure high standards of food preparation, presentation, cleanliness and kitchen hygiene.Monitor food stock, ordering and storage.Maintain accurate food safety documentation.Build positive relationships with children, families and the wider centre team.Contribute to creating a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment for all.Our Commitment to Child SafetyAt Una, the safety, wellbeing and rights of children are our highest priority.We are committed to providing environments where children feel safe, respectful and valued.
