We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our workshop team, specialising in the assembly and manufacturing of electrical switchboards.
About the Role
This position is primarily workshop-based and involves the assembly, wiring, and fit-out of electrical switchboards for a range of industrial and construction projects.
You will work closely with our engineering and project teams to deliver high-quality, compliant products.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble and wire electrical switchboards to drawings and specifications
Interpret electrical schematics and layouts
Carry out functional testing and quality checks of completed boards
Assist with panel layout, component mounting, and internal wiring
Maintain a clean, organised, and protected workshop environment
Work collaboratively with supervisors and project teams to meet deadlines
Safety Responsibilities
Take responsibility for your own safety and those around you
Follow all workshop safety procedures and company policies
Participate in toolbox talks and contribute to continuous safety improvements
Support apprentices and less experienced team members
Contribute to a positive and team-focused workshop culture
About You
Trade-qualified Electrician (Electrical Trade Certificate or equivalent)
Experience with switchboard building or panel wiring highly regarded
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Commitment to safety and quality
