Wett Solutions is seeking a skilled Light Sheet Metal / TIG Welder – Stainless Steel to join our team on a full-time basis in Alexandria, NSW.
This is a hands‐on technical role that plays a vital part in our manufacturing operations, where precision, quality and attention to detail are paramount.
You will be responsible for producing high-quality welded components using TIG welding techniques on stainless steel materials, contributing directly to the delivery of our products to clients across various industries.
What you'll be doing
Performing TIG welding on light sheet metal components, primarily working with stainless steel materials
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and welding of components
Preparing materials and workpieces for welding, including cleaning, fitting and positioning
Operating and maintaining TIG welding equipment to ensure consistent weld quality and adherence to industry standards
Inspecting completed welds for defects and ensuring they meet required quality standards and specifications
Maintaining a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols and procedures
Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and deadlines
Continuously improving welding techniques and product quality through feedback and best practice application
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a TIG welder, with demonstrated expertise in welding stainless steel materials
Proficiency in light sheet metal work and fabrication processes
The ability to read and accurately interpret technical drawings and specifications




Strong understanding of welding safety procedures and quality assurance standards
Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for precision work
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship
The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‐paced manufacturing environment
Physical fitness and capability to perform manual duties, including standing for extended periods and lifting materials
Relevant welding qualifications or certifications (such as AQF Level 2 or equivalent) are highly desirable
Experience with various welding positions and techniques is a plus
