Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role provides solid, visible leadership, clear direction, and proactive issue resolution across all levels of service.
You will ensure operational efficiency and uphold consistent standards for our client.
Acting as a critical link between the Client, Operations Manager, and on-site security personnel, the Site Supervisor will need to ensure effective communication, accurate reporting, and seamless implementation of organisational priorities.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESContract PerformanceOversee the operational performance, presentation, and compliance of the designated site, ensuring all services are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements.Monitor and evaluate on-site security personnel performance,
implementing targeted action plans to drive continuous improvement in service delivery.Assess future site requirements and provide strategic recommendations to the Operations Manager to support operational effectiveness and client satisfaction.Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, proactively managing issue resolution, service enhancement initiatives, and customer feedback.Complete all administrative and reporting requirements to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and organisational standards.Facilitate regular structured meetings with internal stakeholders to review site performance, establish priorities, and confirm action plans and delivery timelines.Lead client review meetings to discuss operational performance, address feedback, identify emerging security trends, and recommend continuous improvement opportunities.LeadershipCommunicate organisational policies, procedures, and industry best practices effectively to all team members, ensuring compliance and operational consistency.Provide strong visible leadership on site, clearly setting expectations and communicating key performance indicators (KPIs) and service standards.Monitor employee performance, deliver constructive and timely feedback, and manage performance concerns through fair and consistent processes.Coach, train, and mentor team members to achieve business objectives, meet KPIs, and support their ongoing professional development.The ability to delegate responsibilities appropriately across the Security team to maximise operational efficiency.Foster a positive and engaged workplace culture to maintain high team morale and minimise employee turnover.Oversee and coordinate daily site operations to ensure service delivery, compliance,
and customer expectations are consistently met.Manage and resolve workplace conflicts promptly and professionally to maintain team cohesion and operational effectiveness.Address disciplinary matters in a timely and appropriate manner to minimise operational disruption and mitigate business risk.Escalate Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR) matters to Human Resources promptly, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and legal requirements.Ensure all mandatory training and compliance requirements are completed within required timeframes, taking corrective action where necessary to address gaps or non-compliance.Work Health & SafetyEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and all relevant WHS legislationPromote and model safe behaviours, enforcing standards and expectations consistentlyImplement secure systems of work, including conducting risk assessments and ensuring staff do the sameEncourage a strong safety culture, prioritising the wellbeing of all team membersProvide input on potential WHS risks and opportunities for improvementEnsure timely reporting of incidents and complete all documentation within required timeframesWHO WE ARE LOOKING FORExperience & CapabilitiesPrevious experience as a Security Site ManagerProven leadership experienceDemonstrated ability to communicate clearly and provide direction across all organisational levelsStrong time-management skillsConfident in problem-solving, and effective decision-makingknowledge of rostering and workforce planningIntermediate computer literacy, particularly in Excel, Word, and WorkbuddyHigh level of numerical and written communication competencyStrong understanding of WHS, IR, and EEO legislative requirementsExperience working effectively within culturally diverse environmentsQualificationsMinimum 3 years' experience in Site Manager roleCurrent State-based Security LicenceCurrent First Aid certificationValid NSW Driver's licence
