This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about photography, videography, and social media who wants to gain hands-on experience within Sydney's leading hospitality and events group.You will travel across our premium event venues, capturing weddings, corporate events, conferences, gala dinners, celebrations, and special occasions.
Your content will showcase the unique experiences our venues deliver, creating engaging photography and social-first video content that reflects the Navarra brand.This role combines professional event photography with real-time social media content creation.
You'll be responsible for capturing authentic moments, editing content, and publishing engaging posts that align with our brand guidelines.Key ResponsibilitiesEvent PhotographyTravel to various Navarra venues to capture live events.Photograph venue spaces, styling, décor, food and beverage presentations.Capture guests, entertainment, speakers and key event moments.Produce professional photography across weddings, corporate events, conferences,



gala dinners and private celebrations.Edit and deliver high-quality photography for marketing and social media use.Maintain Navarra's premium visual standards across all imagery.Social Media Content CreationCreate engaging social-first video content using a smartphone, iPhone or pocket camera.Capture short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook and other social media platforms.Film interviews, testimonials and people-focused content.Capture behind-the-scenes moments and live event experiences.Create Instagram Stories during events.Identify opportunities to produce trending and engaging content.Edit videos using platforms such as CapCut, InShot or similar editing software.Edit, schedule and publish content in line with Navarra brand guidelines.Work closely with the Marketing Team to support content campaigns across multiple venues.About YouThis position is ideal for an entry-level creative looking to build a career in event photography, social media, and digital marketing.You will have:A passion for photography, videography and social media.Your own photography equipment suitable for professional event photography.Confidence creating video content using a smartphone or pocket camera.A creative eye for storytelling and attention to detail.Knowledge of current social media trends and short-form content.Basic editing skills using Adobe Lightroom, CapCut, InShot or similar software.Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional manner.The ability to work evenings and weekends as required.A current driver's licence and reliable transport to travel between venues across Sydney.Valid Australian working rights.A Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) for drone photography is advantageous but not essential.What We OfferJoin the Navarra Marketing Team and work across some of Sydney's most iconic event venues.Gain hands-on experience capturing premium weddings, corporate events and celebrations.Consistent casual hours every week, primarily Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.Opportunity to develop your photography, videography and social media skills.A supportive team environment with long-term casual opportunities.Work in a rapid-paced, creative and exciting events industry.
