Job Overview
As a Fire Technician Tester at Control Fire Protection, you will be responsible for testing, inspecting, and ensuring the functionality of fire safety systems in line with AS****.
This role is crucial in maintaining fire safety standards and contributing to the overall safety and compliance of residential and commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Testing and Inspections: Perform systematic testing and inspections of fire safety systems, including fire alarms, occupant warning systems, sprinkler systems, hydrants, and emergency lighting,



to ensure compliance with AS**** standards.
Report and Document Findings: Accurately document all testing activities, report deficiencies, and provide detailed inspection reports to both internal teams and external clients.
Client Communication: Liaise with clients, team members, and supervisors to schedule tests, communicate findings, and ensure the timely completion of all required works.
Uptick Management: Ensure all tasks and results are recorded in the Uptick system, maintaining detailed records of service activities.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with Australian fire safety regulations, and maintain a protected working environment at all times.
Skills and Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire safety systems testing, inspection, and maintenance.
Qualifications: Sound understanding of fire protection regulations and standards, particularly AS****.
