About the role:

The responsibility of a Senior Design Drafter is to develop, produce and design CAD models and drawings which comply with Wolff Engineering & Design’s drawing procedures & CAD user’s manual, along with other Wolff Engineering & Design or Client specific drawing/design guidelines and standards.

Our ideal candidate will bring strong design and drafting capability, along with the ability to convert preliminary engineering concepts and inputs into practical, high-quality design drawings.

Skills & Experience Requirements
Relevant Tertiary Qualifications or Diploma
Minimum 5+ Years of proven skills in relevant engineering discipline.
Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and MicroStation
Robust understanding of the functional electrical design (Power Systems, Control Systems and Construction Design).
Sound knowledge and understanding of HV infrastructure and construction techniques.
Deliver detailed HV/LV electrical engineering drawings




Demonstrated experience in interpreting and implementing design information provided by Primary Design, Civil Design and Project Engineers
Integrate drawing files to produce 3d model and perform clash detection
Ensure design deliverables are checked thoroughly and follow the Quality Control Process
BIM experience (desirable but not mandatory)
Current Queensland Open Driver’s License
