The On-Call Substitute Teacher provides classroom instruction in the absence of the regular teacher while maintaining a safe, engaging, and productive learning environment. Assignments may vary by grade level and subject area based on school needs.
Responsibilities
Implement lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher.
Foster a positive, respectful classroom culture.
Supervise students throughout the instructional day.
Maintain accurate attendance and classroom records.
Communicate effectively with school administrators and staff.
Follow all school policies and emergency procedures.
Leave detailed notes regarding the day's activities and student progress.

Required
High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)
Previous classroom or substitute teaching experience
Ability to successfully pass all required background screenings
