About the Role:
As a Warehouse Storeperson - Freight Handler, you'll be responsible for the safe and effective movement of freight through our warehouse.
Your day will include:
Receiving, sorting and dispatching freight
Scanning and tracking freight using warehouse systems
Loading and unloading vehicles and containers
Safely operating manual handling equipment
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times
Physical Requirements:




This position requires you to safely perform the inherent physical requirements of the role, including:
Regular lifting and carrying of items up to 22kg
Frequent standing, walking and bending throughout your shift
Repetitive manual handling tasks
Working efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
About You!
We're looking for someone who is:
Reliable, punctual and committed to safety
Physically capable of performing the inherent requirements of the role
A team player with a positive attitude
Detail-oriented with good accuracy when handling freight
Willing to learn and follow warehouse procedures
Desirable Skills:
While not essential, experience in any of the following would be highly regarded:
Customs-controlled or bonded freight
Import and export operations
Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Freight, transport or logistics environments
