Purpose of Role
The Furniture Delivery Assistant is responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of furniture as part of a team to our clients.
Key responsibilities
Deliveries & Customer Service: Handle deliveries to clients, ensuring excellent customer service and reporting any issues to management.
Furniture Assembly & Installation: Assist with and, when appropriate, carry out furniture assembly and installations.
Manual Handling & Safety: Perform manual lifting, loading, and unloading of stock, adhering to safety guidelines and using provided safety equipment.
Packing & Dispatch:



Ensure outgoing goods are appropriately packed for safe dispatch and assist with warehouse organization.
Vehicle & Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of company vehicles and the warehouse.
Warehouse & Inventory Support: Assist with receiving goods, inventory checks, organizing stock, and maintaining stock levels.
Essential Licences
Full Driving Licence with ability to drive a small truck
About you
Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving goods, while adhering to safety protocols.
Furniture Experience: Demonstrated ability to work with furniture, ideally 1-2 years of experience.
Customer-Focused: Provide excellent service, handling client interactions professionally and ensuring deliveries are on time.
Team Player: Willing to assist colleagues as needed and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
Attention to Detail: Ensure accurate packing, handling of goods, and reporting of discrepancies to avoid errors.
