This is a high-impact FIFO opportunity with a leading self-performing contractor, offering strong career growth, excellent site conditions, and a standout package.With a 30% FIFO uplift, fully funded accommodation, meals, and return flights, this role is ideal for a Site Engineer ready to step up in large-scale civil infrastructure delivery.The Project – a major 400MW renewable projectWe are delivering a major 400MW renewable project, located approximately 2.5 hours from Townsville.This landmark renewable energy project will generate 400MW of clean power across 68 wind turbines, with a total contract value of $347M.

Working closely with the Project Manager and site team, you'll help drive safe, efficient, and commercially sound project outcomes.Your ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain 3-week look-ahead programs aligned with the construction scheduleCoordinate plant, labour, and materials to support efficient deliveryAssist with procurement, purchase orders, subcontractor management, and variationsSupport cost tracking, productivity reporting, and progress claimsLead site safety and quality activities, including toolbox talks, audits, ITPs, and NCR managementAbout YouDegree qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalentMinimum 3 years' Australian civil construction experienceStrong interest or experience in site-based civil deliveryHighly organised with the ability to manage competing prioritiesStrong understanding of SWMS, risk management, and site complianceConfident communicator who builds strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and site teamsA career with usAt Symal, we've always known that people and performance make amazing things happen.
