The Supply Chain Analyst sits within the National Transport Team, providing hands-on data, reporting and operational support to the Regional Transport Manager.This role enables a consistent, efficient and assured transport network by turning raw data into actionable insight, maintaining compliance and contract documentation and actively supporting the continuous improvement agenda across all transport streams.Supporting Inghams' four transport pillars of Compliance, Carrier Management, Continuous Improvement and Procurement Support, this role will suit a curious, analytical and highly motivated person with previous exposure to transport and logistics, and someone looking to make their mark in a high paced FMCG environment!
Key responsibilities:Maintain and update transport compliance registers, including Chain of Responsibility (CoR) documentation across all relevant streamsTrack and collate fatigue management, mass management, and vehicle maintenance obligations - flagging gaps or upcoming renewals to the relevant RTMSupport incident tracking and corrective action registers; prepare compliance status summaries for RTM reviewMonitor relevant regulatory updates and escalating material changes to the teamCoordinate audit support materials and filing for internal and external compliance reviewsMaintain carrier performance data across the networkPrepare carrier scorecards and performance summaries ahead of monthly/quarterly business reviews, and ad hoc carrier review meetings.Assist in documenting carrier SLAs, rate schedules and contract registers - keeping records current and accessibleSupport carrier onboarding processes, coordinating accreditation checklists and insurance documentationSupport CI initiatives and analyse transport operations data to identify trends,
inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunitiesParticipate in site visits and carrier meetings as required to gather operational context and ground-truth your analysisAssist RTMs in preparing data packs for rate reviews, RFQ processes and carrier tender submissionsMaintain freight rate schedules and fuel levy trackers, ensuring accuracy and flagging any anomalies to the RTMs.Key requirements:Strong analytical and data skills: you are comfortable working with large datasets and translating numbers into clear, usable insightsPrior exposure to a transport, logistics or FMCG supply chain environment with working knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation and transport compliance frameworksExperience supporting procurement or contract administration activitiesComfort with project coordination - tracking actions, managing timelines, preparing meeting materialsProficiency in Microsoft Excel; exposure to data visualisation or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar) is highly regardedA tertiary qualification in supply chain, logistics, business, data analytics or a related field or demonstrated experience in a similar analytical support roleClear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven findings to operational and leadership audiencesOrganised and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities without dropping the ballA collaborative, team-first approach with genuine curiosity about how transport and supply chain operations workWillingness to travel to Inghams' sites and carrier locations across the networkWe're looking for people who arecurious, caring, courageous and committed to join us; people who want to contribute their best work every single dayand continue delivering deliciously good food that's...Always Positive!
