Home to 13 handcrafted treehouses, an award-winning restaurant, and one of the region's most sought-after wedding venues, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional experiences for every guest.We are seeking an experienced, highly capable live-in caretaker couple to become an integral part of our accommodation, weddings and housekeeping team.This is not a traditional caretaker role.
We are looking for a professional couple who can confidently assist across multiple areas of the business, providing exceptional guest service while supporting the day-to-day operation of the property.If you're looking for a long-term lifestyle position where no two days are the same, we'd love to hear from you.About the RoleTogether, you will become part of our accommodation and weddings team, providing support across guest services, administration, housekeeping, weddings and after-hours caretaking.One or both applicants must have solid administration and computer skills, while both should be happy to work wherever required to ensure the smooth operation of the property.Your responsibilities will include:Assisting with accommodation enquiries, reservations and guest communicationsReception duties, including guest check-ins and check-outsGeneral office administration and computer-based tasksAssisting with social media content and online engagementHousekeeping, laundry and presentation of accommodation when requiredPreparing and delivering breakfasts,



BBQ hampers and pre-prepared mealsAssisting with wedding day operations and supporting the Wedding CoordinatorClosing reception each afternoonProviding after-hours guest assistance and responding to emergenciesAssisting with the day-to-day operation and presentation of the propertyWorking collaboratively across all departments to maintain the exceptional standards Secrets on the Lake is known for.We're looking for a couple with experience across most or all of the following:Administration and office managementWeddings, events or hospitality (an RSA is essential, or the willingness to obtain one immediately)Guest services and receptionHospitality and customer serviceSocial media knowledge and confidence using social platformsStrong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn booking systemsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsA current driver's licenceExperience with reservation systems, tourism software or hospitality booking platforms will be highly regarded.About YouYou are both:Looking for long-term employmentFriendly, warm and professionalExceptionally organised with excellent attention to detailAble to multitask and remain calm under pressurePractical, proactive and excellent problem-solversPhysically capable of housekeeping and manual tasksFlexible and willing to assist wherever requiredWell presented with outstanding customer service skillsHonest, reliable and committed to a long-term future with our businessThis role would suit a couple who genuinely enjoy working together, take pride in their work, and love creating memorable experiences for guests.What We OfferLive-in one-bedroom apartment on-site (suitable for a couple only) Please do not apply if you are a singleSubsidised accommodation (5 hours per person - pays for your beautiful apartment).
