Sales Representative

Location: Forrestfield, WA

Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 Base + Commission

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Representative to join our growing team. Working within the truck/trailer manufacturing and transport industry, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
Identify and secure new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and lead generation.
Build and maintain solid relationships with new and existing customers.
Prepare quotations, sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales.
Manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to delivery and after-sales support.
Assist customers with licensing, permits, handovers, and warranty enquiries.
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies.
Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular performance reporting.
Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and transport regulations.
Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and WHS requirements.

Essential Requirements




Heavy Combination (HC) Driver's Licence.
Minimum 5 years' experience within the transport, heavy vehicle, trailer manufacturing, or related industry.
Experience selling capital equipment in a B2B environment.
Solid communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
Excellent time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.

Desirable Requirements
Multi Combination (MC) Driver's Licence.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
Relevant trade qualification or technical background.
Experience selling heavy vehicle or transport equipment.
Knowledge of transport laws, regulations, licensing, and permits.
Proven history of achieving sales targets.
