you'll thrive.For more information, visit: the OpportunitySmart Cookies is looking for a full-time Room Leader / Lead Educator based in Liverpool, NSW.You will lead a nurturing team focused on high-quality education, documentation, and critical reflection to support children's development.More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Lead, inspire and mentor your early childhood educators to deliver engaging, play-based learning programsCreate a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that supports every child's developmentBuild strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleaguesOversee program planning, observations, documentation, and assessment in line with the EYLF and NQSMaintain the highest standards of child safety, wellbeing, and complianceContribute to our Quality Improvement Plan and uphold our service philosophyAct as the Responsible Person in the absence of the Nominated SupervisorAbout YouTo qualify, you will need a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and prior experience as a Room Leader.
A minimum of 2+ years in a leadership role within early childhood education is essential.You'll also hold:Current Working With Children CheckFirst Aid, CPR,
Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificationsAccredited Child Protection TrainingThe following will also be highly valued:Experience managing small teams in tight-knit environments and proven leadership and mentoring skillsMaintains composure and professionalism in a busy early learning environmentStrong knowledge of the NQS and EYLF frameworksExcellent communication and organisational skillsYou're a confident and experienced leader who takes pride in creating high-quality learning environments and building strong, supportive teams.
