Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical drawings, executing repair and fabrication work to a high standard, and ensuring a safety-first approach to everything you do.

Each candidate will be assessed based on their competencies and experience within the role.What we're looking forCert III in Engineering – Fabrication (Australian Trade recognised)Extensive experience in air arc gouging, lancing and OXY/thermal processes including cutting, heating and thermal lancingAbility to interpret engineering and detailed fabrication drawings, specifications and standardsExperience performing welding techniques including, but not limited to,
GMAW and FCAW (multiple wire applications)Ability to successfully pass AS****** weld tests across the above techniquesMobile plant repair experience highly regardedStrong commitment to meeting customer requirementsSafety-focused mindset with a proactive approach to hazard identification and risk managementWhy Join WesTrac?
