Our hospital features three operating theatres and provides a diverse range of specialties including endoscopy, gynaecology, ophthalmology, general surgery, bariatric, and plastic surgery.We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality patient care within a supportive, collaborative, and friendly team environment, where staff feel valued and empowered.About the RoleDue to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Scrub Scout Nurse to join our perioperative team on a permanent part-time basis.This role will involve working closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, and the wider perioperative team to ensure protected, efficient, and high-quality surgical care.HoursScrub Scout Nurse: 16 hours per fortnightKey ResponsibilitiesDeliver safe and high-quality care within the operating theatre environmentPerform the scrub/scout role across a range of surgical proceduresCollaborate effectively with surgeons, anaesthetists,



and perioperative teamsMaintain strict adherence to infection control and sterile techniqueParticipate in continuous quality improvement initiativesUphold excellence in patient safety and clinical standardsContribute to a positive and supportive team cultureQualificationsCurrent registration with AHPRAMinimum 2 years' experience as a Scrub Scout NurseDemonstrated experience in: Laparoscopic proceduresOphthalmology (eye surgery)Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient-centred careExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary teamExperience in the private hospital sector is highly desirable.Eligibility RequirementThis position is only open to applicants with full working rights in AustraliaWhy Join Us?
