We have an exciting permanent opportunity for an EHS Coordinator to join our Manufacturing team based out of Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia!

These beloved products include condiments and sauces, cheese and dairy, meals, meats, refreshment beverages, coffee, infant and nutrition products, and numerous other grocery products in a portfolio of more than 200 legacy and emerging brands.Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to:Ensuring suitable and adequate systems (policies, management systems, internal controls, equipment, etc.) are competently applied across all departmentsCompliance with legislative and corporate requirements, and demonstrating due dilligenceAssuring completion of suitable audits for EHS and corresponding action plans.Assuring business continuity risks are mitigated through forward planning - liaise on with EHS Mentor and Site ManagerProvide qualitative and quantitative information on EHS (e.g., performance statistics, performance reviews, business risks, professional opinions)Meet requirements of the post-injury management process,



ensuring suitable systems are implemented and maintained across the site.About you:Bachelors degree in a professional technical discipline – e.g. engineering/science, supplemented with courses in safety, industrial hygiene, setting or Diploma in Occupation Safety and Health with appropriate experience.Some experience in EHS or safety management or in a related field in a processing or manufacturing environment.Understanding of legal systems, regulatory enforcement processes and relevant legislation.Experience liaising with regulatory agencies (i.e. city / district / regional councils)Understanding and experience with Safety Management Systems (e.g. AS/NZS ****, OHSAS *****) and/or other management systems (e.g. ISO****, ISO*****).
