The work may include fabrication, repairs, rebuilds, welding and general boilermaker duties across a range of projects.After-hours or weekend work may occasionally be required depending on operational needs, however this is not expected to be a regular requirement.Duties may includeLight to heavy fabricationRepairs and rebuildsMIG and TIG weldingWorking with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminiumReading and interpreting workshop drawingsMaintaining a safe,



clean and organised work areaWorking independently and as part of a teamAttending local job sites as requiredAbout YouWe are looking for someone who is reliable, safety-focused and takes pride in their work.To be considered, you will ideally have:Trade qualification as a Boilermaker / Fabricator (Certificate III or Certificate IV in Engineering – Fabrication Trade, or equivalent)Previous boilermaker experienceExperience with light to heavy fabrication and rebuildsMIG and TIG welding experienceAbility to read and interpret workshop drawingsStrong attention to detailAbility to work independently when requiredAustralian work rights (open to sponsorship for the right candidate)Highly regarded but not essentialAluminium and stainless steel experienceWorking at Heights ticketEWP ticketAbout LJ's Engineering and Steel FabricationLJ's Engineering and Steel Fabrication is a locally based engineering and fabrication business located in Gracemere, Central Queensland.
