GKG Engineering is a Yatala-based design and fabrication business that specialises in servicing the waste & recycling industry.
We design and fabricate quality, cost-effective materials handling equipment, specialising in conveyors and steelwork.
In addition to this, we provide installation and maintenance programs and partner with our customers for unique project work.About the Role:As a Fitter and Turner with GKG Engineering, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling machinery in our workshop, as well as maintaining, servicing, and repairing plant and equipment off site.The role is located at our Yatala workshop, where you will gain recent skills and exposure to various projects which will challenge you and help you to grow.
You will also work on our various projects which will require interstate and local travel to various sites.




All travel expenses are paid for.About You:Fabricate, assemble and maintain our products and equipmentInterpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately execute fabrication tasksConduct inspections, identify equipment issues, and perform repairs and maintenance as requiredCollaborate with the engineering team to optimise equipment performance and efficiencyAdhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environmentAustralian Recognised Trade Certificate in Fitting & TurningFixed plant machinery experiencePrevious experience in metal fabrication and site workExperience using Lathe, Mill, Saw & Drill PressEnjoy working independently and as part of a team
