Position: Support Worker – Cleaning and Catering (Permanent Part Time) at Calvary The Mariner, South West Rocks

Key Responsibilities
Assist with the catering service to meet residents' food requirements, including preparation, storage, hygiene, distribution and serving of meals.
Follow written protocols for special dietary requests.
Assist with the preparation of the dining rooms.
Work with the food safety plan and legislative guidelines.
Maintain a high standard of cleaning in residents' rooms and all general areas.
Adhere to infection control, manual handling, and WHS procedures.
Maintain efficient and open communication.

About You
Experience in basic food preparation preferred but not essential.
Excellent customer service approach, friendly and bubbly personality.
Effective time management skills and experience in a rapid‑paced workplace.
Basic understanding of the requirements to support residents living with dementia, including challenging behaviours,



and knowledge of the aged care standards will be highly regarded.
