ResponsibilitiesInterpret drawings and specifications to establish installation procedures and materials requiredGeneral carpentry including cutting, assembling, joining timber and concrete formworkErecting, propping and securing formworkRe-sheeting timber moulding and formworkFollow all code requirements for Australian building standards Supervise, teach and direct apprentice carpentersSelect and evaluate materials for defectsLiaise with team members, trades and suppliers Liaise with project managerParticipate in workplace training programs as requiredLead the Quality and Safety culture in the yard along with feedback to the factoryParticipate in setting up new projects:



mould assembly and formworkEstablish production forecast with Precast Manager and project teamProduction delivery plan liaise with Planning/Precast ManagerSkills and abilitiesHigh level of competency in measuring, cutting and installing frames and structuresProficient and the safe use of hand and power tools with measuring instruments are essential.Basic maths and problem solving skillsStrong attention to detailInspiring leadershipIn depth understanding of fabrication drawingsUnderstanding of specifications and tolerancesOrganizational skillsTeam player with team-oriented attitudeQualificationCertificate III in Carpentry or equivalentWork experienceIdeally have a minimum of 3 years' experienceSalary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience Several Full-time Positions available Applications open on 21st July **** and closes on 21st August **** If you are interested in this role
