They are currently seeking a Chemist to join their team in a full-time ongoing role, with strong potential to become permanent!
Unique opportunity for individuals with a Science or Engineering Background to gain valuable, hands-on experience in an Industrial Chemistry Setting.Duties:Test chemicals to determine their composition and flammabilityOrganize and unpack chemical wasteSort chemicals into their classesDecant and dispose chemical wastePackage chemical waste for destructionWear PPE (full-face respirators, chemical suits, face shields,
etc.)Key Considerations:Role is based within a Warehouse (not lab based)Manual Handling is requiredSkills & Experience:Tertiary qualifications in Science or EngineeringKnowledge of safe chemical handlingPrevious warehouse experience - highly regardedAbility to lift up to 25kgCan-do attitude, enthusiastic to workAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentCulture & Benefits:Full training providedHigh potential of going permanentEarly Start and FinishFree In office ParkingOvertime availableWork with a passionate and experienced team
