Practice Nurse / Patient Care Coordinator (Part-Time)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Practice Nurse / Patient Care Coordinator to join our friendly specialist Gastroenterology practice.
This is a varied role combining clinical nursing with patient coordination and front desk secretarial responsibilities.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working closely with patients and takes pride in providing exceptional care and service.
About the Role
Responsibilities include:
Assisting the specialist during consulting sessions and proceduresProviding patients with bowel preparation and procedural informationLiaising with patients, GPs, hospitals and pathology providersReviewing referrals, triaging and coordinating appointmentsManaging patient recalls and follow-upWilling to assist and support secretaries with front desk duties whenever required
About You
You will:




Ideally be a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registrationHave excellent communication and interpersonal skillsBe highly organised with robust attention to detailConfident using medical software and electronic medical recordsDemonstrate reliability, professionalism and accountabilityTake ownership of your work and communicate openlyBe warm, compassionate and committed to delivering outstanding patient carePrevious experience in Gastroenterology, Endoscopy or specialist consulting rooms is desirable but not essential.
