With an existing support team in place and regular ongoing work "coming through the door", their need is real and now!!!
Based in suburban Newcastle, parking is freely available as is the offer of flexibility (within reason).
With plans to further their footprint in the area, this might be an ideal opportunity for someone based in Maitland or even in the northern part of the Central Coast.
(Offices are currently being established).
About This Opportunity
Not surprisingly, you already know what most of your day/week looks like:
Managing a varied caseload acrossfamily law matters
Advising clients with empathetic, but strategic advice on parenting, separation, and financial disputes
Preparing and/or reviewing court documents,



attending hearings and negotiating on behalf of clients
Liaising with Counsel and other stakeholders
Building strong, ongoing client relationships
Assisting in the development of junior staff
What You Will Need to Bring with You
Along with a passion for achieving the best result for your client and an eagerness to establish your professionalism across your team, you will also need to bring with you:
Minimum 4 years post-admission experience infamily law
Current practicing certificate (essential)
Proven experience across a range offamily law matters
Highly developed communication and client engagement skills
Excellent organisation skills and ability to manage competing priorities
Confidence in court work and briefing Counsel
A compassionate, client-focused approach
