This includes managing direct and flexible supports aligned with:Participant goals and NDIS plansNDIS Practice Standards and Code of ConductThe vision, mission, and values of Tender Loving Care DisabilityThis role ensures the delivery of high-quality, person-centred, safe, and responsive services for people with disability.Key Responsibilities1.
NDIS Compliance and QualityEnsure service delivery is compliant with the NDIS Quality and SafeguardsCommission requirements.Oversee internal audits, practice reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.Report incidents, manage risk, and ensure participant rights and choice are respected.Maintain accurate and up-to-date participant records and documentation.2.
Leadership and Workforce DevelopmentSupervise, support, and develop Community Support Workers and Direct SupportsConduct regular supervision, performance reviews, and training.Ensure onboarding, induction, and ongoing development meets NDIS expectations.Promote a workplace culture that aligns with Tender Loving Care Disability's values.3.
Participant-Centred Service DeliveryOversee development and review of individualised support plans.Promote participant choice, dignity of risk,
and supported decision-making.Monitor service delivery to ensure it meets participant goals and funded supports.Lead service improvements based on feedback and participant outcomes.4.
Operational and Financial ManagementDevelop and manage program budgets aligned with NDIS price guides and funding.Implement efficient staffing and resource planning based on service needs.Ensure compliance with Service Agreements and schedule of supports.Submit accurate monthly operational and financial reports to the CEO.5.
Community and Stakeholder EngagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with participants, families, Local AreaCoordinators, support coordinators, and community partners.Represent Tender Loving Care Disability in community and sector forums.Facilitate opportunities for participants to connect with and contribute to their communities.6.
Risk, Incident, and WHS ManagementPromote a safe workplace culture and support the wellbeing of staff and participants.Ensure all incidents, hazards, and complaints are managed and reported in line withNDIS and WHS guidelines.Liaise with the WHS and Return to Work Manager on workplace injury and recoveryprocesses.Identify and mitigate risks in service delivery.Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum 2 years' leadership or management experience in the disability or community sectorDemonstrated knowledge of the NDIS Practice Standards and Code of ConductStrong leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skillsHigh-level written and verbal communication, including reporting and stakeholderStrong administrative and digital literacy skillsNDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and National PoliceClearanceTertiary qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or related fieldsCertificate IV or Diploma in Community Services ManagementTraining in Positive Behaviour Support, trauma-informed practice, or similarAdditional RequirementsCommitment to the mission, values, and policies of Tender Loving Care DisabilityUphold participant confidentiality and rights at all timesWillingness to work flexibly, including occasional after-hours supportParticipate in career development and reflective practice
