The Opportunity Join a collaborative team of experienced Physicians providing comprehensive General Medicine services across a busy regional referral hospital.
You Will
Deliver high-quality inpatient and consultative General Medicine services
Manage a broad range of acute and complex medical presentations
Lead multidisciplinary ward rounds and coordinate patient care
Supervise, mentor and teach Basic Physician Trainees, Registrars, Resident Medical Officers and medical students
Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement and service development initiatives
Contribute to the consultant on-call roster
Play an active role in education, research and the ongoing development of General Medicine services
This position offers an excellent balance of clinical practice, teaching and leadership within a supportive consultant team.

Requirements
To be considered, you must meet one of the following criteria:
Hold Specialist Registration with AHPRA, or be eligible for registration
Have at least 12 months of recent Internal or General Medicine experience
Be enrolled in the RACP Physician Training Program
International Medical Graduate eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (UK, Ireland, Canada, USA or New Zealand)
International Medical Graduate with a confirmed RACP Specialist Pathway interview date
International Medical Graduate assessed by RACP as Substantially Comparable
