Austek Roads is expanding its services into ACT and we’re looking for Asphalt Crew Members to join our energetic team based in Hume. We deliver high-quality asphalt surfacing, patching, and civil projects across the ACT and surrounding regions, with a solid reputation for reliability, performance, and customer service.

What you'll be doing
Assisting the asphalt paving crew with the setup, operation and maintenance of asphalt paving equipment
Ensuring the safe and effective placement of asphalt material on project sites
Performing manual labour tasks such as shovelling, raking and tamping asphalt
Participating in the cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas
Collaborating with the wider construction crew to deliver high-quality asphalt paving work
Adhering to all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for




Previous experience as an Asphalt Crew Member preferred but we are willing to provide training to the right candidate
Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of asphalt paving equipment
Robust physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
Commitment to workplace health and safety
Silica and Asbestos awareness training
Crew Truck Driver

Paver Operator
