About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to participants within their homes and communities while promoting independence, dignity, and choice.
Your responsibilities may include:
Assisting with personal care and daily living activities
Supporting community access, appointments, shopping and social participation
Domestic assistance and meal preparation
Medication assistance (where appropriately trained)
Supporting participants with individual goals and capacity building
Maintaining accurate progress notes and documentation using our digital systems
Working collaboratively with Registered Nurses, Care Coordinators and the wider care team
Promoting participant rights, dignity, privacy and independence at all times

Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to person-centred care
High standard of documentation and professionalism
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) where applicable
Current First Aid (HLTAID011)
Current CPR Certificate
Valid Australian Driver Licence
Reliable, roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance
Smartphone suitable for mobile workforce applications
Australian working rights
Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care or Community Services
Experience supporting participants with complex care needs
Manual Handling training
Medication competency
Mental Health experience
Behaviour Support experience
High Intensity Support Skills
