Welcome to The Fiddler Hotel, a premier hospitality venue in Sydney and the Home of Celebrations.
We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our team, with previous experience in a mid to large hotel and a robust understanding of relevant liquor and gaming legislation.
Bar and Restaurant Managers looking to step up are encouraged to apply.
Working closely with the General Manager, responsibilities will include:
Providing high quality customer service to our customers
Hands on management of day to day venue operations
Leading our front of house team during peak trade times including Friday and Saturday nights
Managing staff allocations and breaks to ensure optimal coverage across all service periods
Maintaining a safe, welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, including oversight of venue ambience and cleanliness
Ensuring legislative compliance
Daily cash and gaming reconciliation
You will have:
Previous experience successfully managing a hospitality venue of a similar size and nature
Detailed knowledge of Liquor and Gaming legislation




Passion and drive to exceed customer expectations
Strong communication skills, connecting authentically with guests and staff
Experience working under pressure in a high pace environment
Current RSA and RCG certifications (ARCG highly regarded) and police check
Flexibility and availability to work across 7 days, rotating roster including weekends, late nights and public holidays
Lead from the front, working alongside your team during peak trade and setting the standard for exceptional service
