A day in a Job Coach role involves...
Developing robust rapport to understand your participants' needs, interests, skills and experienceAssisting with participants' resumes,
job applications and interview preparationIdentifying and assessing barriers towards employment and creating solutions to support them at work and ongoingCreating job plans with our participants to support clear pathways into sustainable employmentIncreasing our participants' employability through training and other support servicesSourcing employment opportunities through networking and sales strategiesBuilding and maintaining relationships with potential employers and community organisations
