Job Type: Permanent position | Full time positionJob DescriptionDynamic Fire Pty Ltd About the Role An exciting prospect is available for a qualified Electronics Engineering Technician to join our growing team in Maryville, NSW ****.This full-time position involves providing technical support in the testing, commissioning, diagnostics and performance evaluation of electronic fire and life safety systems.
You will work closely with engineers and project teams to ensure systems operate efficiently, meet design specifications and comply with relevant Australian Standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the testing, commissioning and integration of electronic fire detection, alarm and EWIS systemsPerform diagnostic testing, fault finding and analysis of electronic control systems, including Fire Indicator Panels (FIP) and associated equipmentConduct system performance testing, calibration and evaluation of electronic systemsInterpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and specifications to support installation and system upgradesSupport the modification and optimisation of electronic systems to improve performance and reliabilityPrepare detailed technical reports, including system data analysis, defect identification and recommendations for rectificationAssist in implementing maintenance programs in accordance with AS**** and relevant Australian StandardsProvide technical support to engineering and project teamsLiaise with clients, contractors and site personnel to ensure system performance and complianceMaintain accurate service records and asset data using digital systemsEnsure compliance withWork Health and Safety (WHS)



requirements and company standardsSupport and mentor junior technicians and apprenticesSkills and Experience Relevant qualification in Electronics Engineering or a closely related field Certificate III in Fire Protection (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential, with training provided for suitable candidates Construction Industry White Card is required Current driver's licence is required Additional licences such as Working at Heights and EWP are desirable At least one year of relevant work experience in electronic systems testing, diagnostics and technical support Manufacturer or system-specific fire panel certifications (e.g. Notifier, Tyco, Honeywell) are advantageous Willingness to undertake further training and certification in fire systems and compliance standards Experience with fire detection and alarm systems (FIP, EWIS, detectors) is highly desirable Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a technical teamPosition DetailsFull-time, ongoing position Based in Maryville, NSW **** Annual Salary, 85K to 100K+ SupperDynamic Fire Pty Ltd is a leading provider of electronic fire and life safety system solutions, specialising in system design support, testing, commissioning and performance optimisation.
