Absolute Diesel Services is seeking a skilled and dedicated Hydraulic Hose Technician to join our team in Maryborough, QLD.
This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our operations, providing essential hydraulic hose assembly, maintenance, and repair services to our clients across various industries.
In this role, you will be responsible for manufacturing, testing, and servicing hydraulic hoses and fittings to the highest standards, ensuring that our clients' equipment operates safely and efficiently.
This position is integral to maintaining our reputation for quality workmanship and reliable service delivery.
What you'll be doing
Assembling and fabricating hydraulic hoses of varying sizes and specifications using industry-standard equipment and techniques
Testing hydraulic hoses under pressure to ensure they meet safety standards and client specifications
Installing and replacing hydraulic hoses and fittings on client equipment and machinery
Diagnosing hydraulic system faults and identifying appropriate solutions for hose-related issues
Maintaining accurate records of hose assemblies, repairs, and testing procedures
Performing preventative maintenance on hydraulic equipment to extend service life and prevent failures
Communicating with clients and colleagues to understand requirements and provide updates on work progress
Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company procedures at all times
Keeping work areas clean and organised, and maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition
What we're looking for
Completed apprenticeship or substantial experience as a Hydraulic Hose Technician or similar role in the trades and services sector
Demonstrated expertise in hydraulic hose assembly, fitting installation, and pressure testing procedures
Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and the ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings
Proficiency with hydraulic hose crimping machines, cutting equipment,



and pressure testing apparatus
A solid understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to hydraulic work
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing work that meets strict quality standards
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to client sites when required
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Physical fitness and ability to work in a hands-on environment, handling equipment and materials
Preferably, experience working with agricultural, construction, mining, or industrial equipment hydraulic systems
