Setori Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Fitter Machinist to join our team on Tasmania's West Coast.We provide specialist machining, mechanical maintenance and engineering services to the mining and industrial sectors and we are looking for someone who shares our commitment to quality workmanship and exceptional service.About the RoleAs a Fitter Machinist, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing equipment essential to Tasmania's mining and industrial operations.Your responsibilities will include:Mechanical fitting, maintenance and overhaul of fixed plant equipmentManual machining using lathes, milling machines and other workshop equipmentRepair and refurbishment of pumps, gearboxes and rotating equipmentBearing, seal and shaft repairsFault finding and diagnosing mechanical issuesMaintaining high standards of safety, workmanship and housekeepingAbout YouYou'll be a qualified tradesperson who enjoys solving problems and takes pride in producing high-quality work.You'll ideally have:Strong machining and mechanical fitting skillsExperience with pumps,
