BCB Welding & Fabrications PTY LTD – Darra QLDBCB Welding & Fabrications PTY LTD is seeking a skilled Boilermaker, Sheetmetal, Welder to join our team on a casual basis, Leading to full time for right candidate.
This is a hands-on role based in Darra with a large portion of works completed on site, where you will utilise your expertise in welding, boilermaking, and sheetmetal work to deliver high-quality fabrication and assembly solutions.
This position is integral to maintaining our reputation for precision, durability, and excellence in the trades and services sector.
You will work flexibly on a casual basis, allowing for schedule adaptability whilst contributing to the diverse range of projects our company undertakes.Key responsibilitiesOperating and maintaining welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, stick and oxy-acetylene welding apparatus, to produce strong and precise weldsFabricating, assembling and repairing a broad range of equipment.Working with Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel & Aluminium.Interpreting technical drawings,Conducting quality checks and inspections on completed work to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulationsPreparing work areas and materials in advance of fabrication and welding tasksMaintaining a safe and clean working environment in accordance with health and safety protocolsCollaborating with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and specificationsInstallation of a range of mechanical equipment to a variety of sites across the southeast.What we're looking forTo be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills, qualifications and experience:Q Fever Vaccination or open to having it.Proven experience as a boilermaker, sheetmetal worker or welder in an industrial or fabrication environmentProficiency in multiple welding techniques including MIG, TIG,



stick and oxy-acetylene weldingCompetence in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specificationsStrong understanding of boilermaking and sheetmetal fabrication processesDemonstrated ability to work with precision and attention to detailKnowledge of workplace health and safety standards relevant to welding and fabrication workPhysical fitness and ability to perform manual labour, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy materialsExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a teamExperience in quality control and inspection of welded and fabricated components is advantageousReliability and punctuality, with the flexibility to adapt to casual work arrangementsWhat we offerBCB Welding & Fabrications PTY LTD is committed to providing our team members with a rewarding and supportive work environment.
