Located on the northern bank of the Pioneer River since ****, our Hospital is a modern 105-bed facility featuring five operating theatres, a fully equipped day surgery unit, and a wide range of specialist clinical services.Salary range: $***** - $***** per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900+ access to many staff advantages!
What you'll be doingKey duties and responsibilities will include:Utilising a structured approach carry out comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments of patientsWithin scope of practice, implements planned evidence-based nursing interventionsAct as a patient advocate ensuring patients are informed and consent is gained prior to proceduresContribute to the maintenance of an environment which promotes safety, security and personal integrity of individual patients and groupsMaintain and adhere to Infection Control policies and practicesComplies with organisational policies, procedures, work instructions and guidelinesEnsure confidentiality of corporate and patient informationAbout youTo be successful in your application you will have:Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (no restrictions)Recent nursing experience in an acute hospital setting (at least 1-year post-graduate experience)Previous experience within a pre and post-operative nursing care in an acute setting is highly desirableAdvanced interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of different stakeholders both internally and externally at various levelsThe ability to work well autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary teamHere, we are proud to be a community-based hospital, and it's our people who make the difference.
