Financial Crime Risk Manager (12 Months Fixed Contract)
This organisation is a well-established wealth and financial services provider with a strong domestic presence and international backing.
The group provides contemporary wealth management services and products to a high net worth and ultra-high net worth client base.
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Crime Risk Manager to join the Financial Crime team.
Reporting to the Head of Financial Crime Risk, you'll play a key role in supporting the ongoing operation and enhancement of the organisation's AML/CTF and Sanctions programs, while contributing to the broader Financial Crime Risk Framework across Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC) and Fraud.
Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll provide trusted advice and oversight on Financial Crime matters, support complex investigations, contribute to framework uplift, and help ensure Financial Crime risks are effectively identified, managed and reported.
This is a broad role offering exposure across governance, advisory, assurance, regulatory change and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Support the AML/CTF and Sanctions programs and broader Financial Crime Risk Framework.
Provide advice, guidance and effective challenge on Financial Crime matters.
Manage complex Financial Crime investigations and high-risk customer matters.
Conduct customer due diligence, client screening, transaction monitoring and alert investigations.
Undertake risk assessments, thematic reviews, control testing and assurance activities.
Support the development and enhancement of Financial Crime policies, procedures, frameworks and controls.
Prepare governance reporting and contribute to regulatory and change initiatives.
Support MLRO decision-making and regulatory reporting where required.
Mentor junior team members and build robust relationships with stakeholders across the business.

We are seeking candidates with proven Financial Crime Risk experience, gained within wealth management or private banking.
You will bring strong governance and investigation experience, sound judgement, and the confidence to partner with senior stakeholders across the business.
