Regional Road Infrastructure & DRFA ProjectsAn opportunity is available for an experienced Site Engineer to join a government infrastructure delivery team working across regional road and Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) projects.This is a hands-on delivery role working closely with project managers, supervisors, site crews, subcontractors and technical stakeholders.
You will provide practical engineering support to help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with the required specifications and quality standards.Offering a 16-month contract and exposure to a robust programme of regional works, this role would suit an engineer looking to build further experience delivering road infrastructure within a government environment.The RoleYour responsibilities will include:Coordinating construction activities, subcontractors and site resourcesAssisting with project planning, programming and deliveryMonitoring progress against programme and project requirementsCompleting quality documentation, inspections and project recordsReviewing drawings, specifications and technical requirementsAssisting with quantities, procurement, variations and cost trackingSupporting safety,



environmental and quality complianceIdentifying and resolving technical and construction issuesWorking closely with project managers, supervisors and delivery teamsSupporting practical completion, handover and project close-outAbout YouYou will ideally have:A degree in Civil Engineering or a related disciplinePrevious experience delivering road or civil infrastructure projectsStrong site-based engineering and construction experienceAn understanding of civil construction specifications and quality systemsThe ability to interpret drawings, specifications and construction programmesStrong communication, reporting and coordination skillsA practical approach to resolving site and construction issuesThe flexibility to travel to regional project sites when requiredPrevious experience delivering TMR, government or DRFA-funded projects will be highly regarded.Why Consider This Opportunity?
