About the Role
As a Room Leader at The Grove Academy, you'll take on a leadership role in creating a nurturing and inspiring learning environment for children and educators.
You'll guide and mentor your team, ensuring exceptional care and education for every child.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the delivery of innovative, fun and milestone aligned programs
Mentoring and supporting educators in their professional growth
Building strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and your team
Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
Observing, documenting, and supporting children's development
Ensuring the safety, health and wellbeing of all children is prioritised at all times
Actively supervising children and maintaining awareness of risks in the environment
Reporting any concerns or incidents in line with service policies and procedures
Skills & Experience
We're looking for a leader who is passionate about shaping a positive learning environment.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
Proven experience leading a room and mentoring educators
Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and child development
Exceptional leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
A positive attitude and love for creating memorable experiences
Strong understanding of child protection responsibilities and mandatory reporting
Ability to identify and respond to risks to children's safety
Completed the Foundations of Child Safety training (or willing to complete prior to commencement).
Successful applicants will be required to hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
