To provide leadership, management, and strategic direction to the Dealership.This role is accountable for the Dealerships Parts and Service safety and financial performance and is a key influencer and support for the VCV Sales activities.This role oversees dealership operations including, safety, employee engagement, customer satisfaction, financial performance, strategic growth, market share and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive a safety-first culture within the dealership.Develop the strategy, budgets and business plans for the dealership.Monitor dealership performance against targets and make recommendations and adjustments as necessary.Build and maintain solid relationships with customers, driving a high level of service delivery and customer care.Monitor and control company assets, including facilities, to ensure that all assets are maintained in an appropriate state to reflect the image of the Company.Ensure compliance to all relevant regulations, legislation and company policy, procedures, and standards.Grow market share and increase client base and market penetration in service/parts.Identify and implement best practice and drive a culture of continuous improvement.Demonstrate a values-based leadership approach to develop an engaged,



high performing workforce.Drive internal communication, cooperation, and daily productivity by regularly meeting with Dealership management to review business operations, performance safety and environmental compliance and adherence to VGA policiesActively participate as a member of the VCV leadership teamPlan, allocate and manage relevant budget/sAllocate capital and manage expenditureReport on operations according to company timelines and standardsEffectively manage and allocate assets and company propertyManage and report on business performancePeople ManagementPlan, set and communicate team directionEnsure clarity of expectations through accurate job profiles and objectivesMeet company timelines for performance and development planningCoach, mentor and counsel staff to enhance performance and mitigate issues / conflictsIncrease capability and provide learning and development opportunitiesDiscuss and formalise career plansEnhance engagement and effectively manage attritionRecruit current team members and ensure adequate and timely resourcingDevelop a strong succession plan, including cross-skillingManage salary and incentive payments in conjunction with manager
