Diesel Fitter-Mechanic is responsible for using tools, machines, equipment and engineering techniques to maintain and repair mechanical plant and equipment to operational standards.
Duties:Reviewing drawings, specifications, and blueprints to determine suitable equipment and actions requiredFitting, assembling, and examining metal parts and subassemblies to produce machines and equipment accuratelyDiagnosing and repairing faultsInterpreting technical drawings,



accurately assembling and fitting mechanical componentsPlacing controls on machining tools and textile machinesForming metal stock and castings to fine tolerances using machining tools and installing hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure the reliable operation of machinery and equipmentProgramming and adjusting machine controls, machining metal parts with precisionUndertake predictive and preventative fabrication, engineering and servicingUndertake fabrication and engineering maintenance and repairs of mobile and fixed plantsSkills and AbilitiesCertificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade or equivalent qualificationMinimum of 3 years' experience in this role or similarAbility to work in a team environmentSalary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience Fulltime Position available Application opens on 30th of July **** and closes on 30th of August ****.
