We encourage applications from individuals who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.About the roleIFYS has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Manager to oversee our Non-Family Based Care programs in the Rockhampton region.This role leads and manages a team of Case Managers across three programs, ensuring they are maintained to the highest level of service delivery and practice standards.What's on offer?
Work based in Rockhampton, with travel across the region to provide oversight to programsCompetitive remuneration + superannuation - IFYS is committed to gender pay equityRelocation assistance negotiable for interstate or overseas candidatesMotor vehicle, laptop and work phone providedExcellent not for profit salary packaging options (package up to $15,900 per FBT year)Ability to work from home on occasion when business needs allowRespectful, supportive and inclusive work environment - working with leaders who have extensive industry knowledgeOrganisational training opportunities including the Sanctuary Model and CSE Prevention trainingAnnual $250 personal wellbeing reimbursement benefit towards eligible activitiesFree access to the CALM Premium App for you and immediate family + Flight Centre personal travel discountsAccess to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Key responsibilities of this role includeMaintain adherence to all requirements, service agreements and contracts relevant to the areaWork with finance to maintain budgets and ensure that all programs program budgets are adhered toLead and develop your team of Case Managers to create positive outcomes for young peopleEnsure all programs and employees are adequately resourced (e.g. human, safety, ICT etc.) to complete their roles effectivelyInitiate and develop strong purposeful collaborative partnerships with key stakeholdersActively innovate, improve practice methodology, internal processes and systemsAssist in strategic planning and identifying growth opportunities and assist in their implementationEnsure the timely and accurate completion of administrative duties such as progress reports, finance documentation and business case submissions in line with legislative, procedural and contractual requirementsEssential criteria to be successful in this roleA tertiary qualification in Human Services or related is highly desirableExperience in a senior management role, overseeing programs that support vulnerable people with complex needs (preferably in Child Protection and/or Residential Care, similar backgrounds will be considered)A strong understanding of trauma informed care,



culturally secure practice and relevant legislation related to Child Protection programsKnowledge and understanding of First Nations culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by First Nations young peopleExperience managing significant budgets of multiple programs and funding streams.The ability and willingness to obtain a Queensland Blue Card, current Queensland Driver's License and a Licensed Care Services Suitability ScreeningFull unrestricted working rights in AustraliaApplication and assessment processWhen submitting your application, please include your current resume and a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.
