Brothers Sports Club - Group Operations ManagerLive, work and be part of the Bundaberg and Wide Bay - Burnett communityHave an integral role with one of Queensland's progressive sporting club groups located on the Southern Great Barrier Reef CoastA great opportunity exists for a motivated, experienced Group Operations Manager to be responsible for operational leadership of Brothers Sports Club Bundaberg and The Bowlo Bundaberg, ensuring each venue operates efficiently, profitably, safely and in full compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements.
The Group Operations Manager also assists with operational leadership of Woodgate Beach Club.Key responsibilities of this position across the group include:Develop, motivate and manage large operational teams.Develop succession capability within the management and staff teamOversee the human resource functionsEnsure all venues consistently achieve operational, financial and customer service objectivesManage the beverage operationsOversee all the compliance, reporting and governance requirementsEnsure compliance with Workplace Health and SafetyThe ideal applicant will need to demonstrate the following:Proven ability to develop,



motivate and manage large operational teams.Strong leadership and communication skills with all stakeholder groupsPassion for providing quality service and member engagement.Be a resilient, adaptable, solution focused individual in high pressure environmentsStrong knowledge of food, beverage, including managing POS, cost/margin analysis and stock controlExperience with human resources functions including employment, inductions, training, rostering and performance reviewsSound understanding of gaming operations, financial analysis and venue management systems.Strong knowledge of the regulatory setting and the ability to manage all compliance requirements for licensed clubsAbility to plan, organise, communication and executeHold or be eligible to obtain, RSA, RSG, Approved Managers Licence (QLD), First aid certificate and diplomas or degrees in hospitality/management would advantageousManagement experience in comparable sized hospitality operations, in particular licensed clubs, hotels or multi-site venues with large volume food, beverage and gaming operationsAn attractive salary package will be offered to the successful applicant.
