This is afixed-term role through to April ****covering two key areas:Operations:service delivery, safety, fleet standards, cost control, continuous improvementRelationships:key customer engagement, service recovery, stocktakes, partnering with Sales and internal teamsYou'll be a visible leader who sets standards,
coaches your team and builds partnerships that protect retention and drive growth.
Business travel within Tasmania and to Melbourne may be required to meet business needs.Key ResponsibilitiesLead depot service operations and manage the performance of a small onsite team.Manage depot costs and contribute to monthly reporting with commercial insightDrive service performance measures includingDIFOT, debrief completion and service reliabilityMaintain strong depot standards (clean, safe, organised) and embed5S/LEANpracticesRelationship managementBuild trusted customer relationships through key account visits and proactive service conversationsLead customer stocktakes and ensure stock management practices are followed consistentlyResolve service issues quickly and professionally, reducing escalationsPartner with Sales to support smooth onboarding/installation of new customers and identify upsell opportunitiesMaintain accurate account records and follow national stocktake proceduresBusiness travel within Tasmania and to Melbourne may be required to meet business needs.What We're Looking ForValid Driver's LicenceProven leadership in depot, service or logistics operations (or similar)Proven people leadership experiencesConfident relationship-builder who can handle challenging conversations and resolve conflictConfident using systems and data (MS Office/Excel plus operational and customer systems) to lift performanceAlsco Uniforms is an equal prospect employer.
