About the role
At Windcave Limited, we are seeking an experienced Risk Manager to join our team in our AU office (Sydney or Melbourne).
This is a full time role, and you will be responsible for managing and mitigating the various risks that our organization faces, ensuring we remain compliant and secure within the Banking & Financial Services industry.
What you'll be doing
Identify, assess, and monitor key risks across the organization, including financial, operational, regulatory, and reputational risks
Develop and implement effective risk management strategies and policies to minimize the impact of risks
Conduct regular risk assessments and provide comprehensive reports to senior management
Ensure the organization remains compliant with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
Collaborate cross-functionally to embed a strong risk management culture throughout the business
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in risk management
Provide expert advice and guidance to support strategic decision-making
Manage and mentor a team of risk professionals
What we're looking for
Significant experience (8+ years) in a similar risk management role, preferably within the Banking & Financial Services industry
Strong knowledge of financial services regulations, compliance frameworks, and industry best practices
Proficiency in risk assessment, analysis, and mitigation techniques
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with senior leaders
Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g., finance, accounting, risk management)
